Don't go it alone anymore.

Please let us know how we can help you get your child the services he or she deserves under the U.S. Department of Education’s Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA).

Special needs services are not a privilege, they are your right.

All submissions to FairIEP are governed by the FairIEP Terms of Service.

Our Latest Events

Working WITH your school to get the services your special needs child deserves is hard enough. Yet, too often, parents are forced to take on a school where cost cutting results in:

Denied Services

Federal law is clear: your child must be judged against his or her potential, not against the pack. If you have heard “Pat’s not far enough behind the class to warrant services,” your district may be breaking the law.

Unprotected Data

If your child is carrying official documents in his or her backpack – documents which may get “lost” after a challenging day – then your district may be violating the Federal Education Rights to Privacy Act.

Railroading Parents

Districts will often drop a 30-page IEP on the desk, tell you it will be implemented no matter what in 10 days, and ask you to sign it BEFORE you have any ability to know what’s in the document.

You can’t sell a car this way. Don’t let them sell off your child’s future.

Your rights don’t end at the schoolhouse door. If you have experienced any of these common issues, we want to help. Our team of SPED experts and Civil Rights litigators want to make sure the system is working for everyone.

Your child only gets one shot. Let us help you before it’s too late.

Do you need someone on YOUR side?

If you believe any of these common issues have happened to you, we want to help. Please enter:

1. Your name and contact email,

2. The name, city, and state of your school district in the Location box,

3. A description of what happened in as much detail as you would like, and

4. Your IEP, 504, or any other document which you think is relevant as an attachment.

We will have one of our specialists review your submission, assess your options, and develop an action plan tailored to your situation.
